What you'll need to set up Google Voice:

You'll need an existing or a new Google Account to get started.

Then, you'll just need a touch-tone phone, and these requirements on your computer:

Google Voice has a comfortable and familiar interface. It’s easy to add contacts and hold phone calls. The message system is top-of-the-line and spam management is simple and almost automatic.
